tattoo and race


Tattoo, on behalf of a person's personality and beliefs, is a representation of the nation's customs and culture by body skin decoration. It is produced by needle or tattooing machine which will be a part of the body forever. Some of the most usual patterns are birds and flowers, or totem, scriptures, gossip and so on, which reflect the aesthetic sense and religious ideas.

Both males and females are crazy about tattoos. And according to their beliefs and religions, there are thousands of tattoos on people's bodies. In the first photo, the tattoo on the woman's back in like a phoenix, a bird which is called the secularbird. it will never die! This tattoo reflects her belief and what she persue.

The second picture shows a Chinese man with a dragon on his arm. Tattooing as a cultural phenomenon can be traced from the spirits of their ancestors for certain activities, such as being brave when doing something thata is dangerous. Chinese ancestors believe though the dragon is envy, tiger is fierce, they will not hurt their children. So having tatoo on their body can prevent their family from danger.
