The photo on the left is my junior high school named Wenxuan Middle School. It's an amazing thing to look back. The photo album reminds me a lot of memories. One of the most important people who changed my life is my English teacher in junior high school. Her name is Song Liming. We always call her Miss Song. I entered junior school at the year 2003. Miss Song was a young lady, perhaps a big girl, at that time. She liked to tell jokes in class. I hated English at first time because I was not used to read an essay with no characters but full of letters. It made me really feel dizzy. Another reason is I didn't like Miss Song. Although she was a humor person and her classes had nothing to do with boring, she was too strict to her students. If you made a mistake in your homework, you would have to write the correct one ten times as a penalty. It made many students feel afraid of her. But as I learned more and more about English, I felt gradually to like it. Miss Song did a lot of contribution for my change. She told me to take English as a language. She always gave me advice about improving my language skills. When I look back, even the penalties seem to be not so terrible. I learned many words and phrases by writing time after time. By this kind of practise, I improved my English quickly. When you getting started, everything will be a matter of course. I had a dream of study abroad from that time. Now my dream has come true-I am a student of University of Minnesota. It's really amazing when looking back. I need to say thanks to Miss Song. Without her, I wouldn't get used to English so fast, and I might have no chance to study abroad. She changed my life significantly. Best wishes to Miss Song.
