Kung-fu, which is a traditional physical activity with long history in China, is a kind of common body practice. It is one of important symbols of Chinese culture and it becomes more and more popular as people always can watch it from the movie. As the image shows, this kung-fu master is Bruce Lee, he is a famous Chinese kung-fu movie star, and he also is the first person introduce Chinese kung-fu to the United State.
In china, I always see people in different age stages train kung-fu in every morning in the park. Chinese kung-fu has lots of forms, such as taijiquan and qigong. Different types of kung-fu have different effects on human bodies, but the pursuit without a terminus is same, that is kung-fu can strengthen people’s physical health. In ancient time, only people who have strong physical quality can train kung-fu, and at that time, people trained kung-fu to wipe out the bullies and help the down-trodden to fight against injustice. However, kung-fu is improved a lot that everyone can train it. For example, the practical exercise of Tai Chi is a kind of Chinese kung-fu. People with docile body can get more benefits from doing the practical excise of Tai Chi because Tai Chi is very slow and soft. People can deepen, prolong, invigorate and slow down their breathing when they do exercise of Tai Chi and breathe more oxygen which is good for people’s health.
