Femininity is Getting Lost

In Susan Bordo's "The body and Reproduction of Femininity", she points out that female bodies today speak symbolically of this necessity in their slender spare shape and the currently fashionable men's wear-look. I strongly agree with this opinion. With the development of society, there is a tendency that women is getting more and more masculine. People in the photo is Li Yuchun, a famous singer in China. Do you think this is a boy or girl? In fact, this is a girl. She became famous via a talent show named "Super Girl". I still don't understand why she could be the champion that year. There is only one way to explain this : masculine female is a new fashion. Females are now prefer short haircut and men's wear. People like to see this kind of dressing. Women hoped to be beautiful, gentle and quiet in the past. However, everything changes in recent years. Instead of the traditonal dressing requirement for women, "new women" are considering more on how to be cool or mastery. That's why I say femininity is getting lost. There is a summary of this tendency: a man is more and more like a woman while woman is more and more like a beast. Of course it's just a joke, but it shows the fact somehow. I want to marry a girl with long and pure black hair, but I only can find girls just look like boys in daily life. That's terrible! I really feel curious about why girls like to dress like this. Maybe I'm out of fashion too much. In my view, fimininity is the main point that why female can appeal male. If the tendency continues, there may be only one gender on earth in the future- there is no necessity to divide people by gender, because they are all same.
